“Where the Sky Waits“

After countless hours in the sky, I would finally return to my accommodation, tired but grateful. I’d step outside and watch as the sky burned with colors more vivid than any destination I’d flown to that day. Sometimes, rare and magical, rain would fall over Dubai — softening the air, glistening on the parked cars, and making the streets shimmer under the sunset.
The taxis and parked cars waited silently, just like me — catching their breath before the next journey.
I’m no longer working as cabin crew, but I carry these memories with me — the sunsets, the quiet streets after the rain, the calm between flights — and I remain deeply grateful for that chapter of my life. This painting is a tribute to those moments that made all the exhaustion worthwhile.
